JEE (Main)-2021 for May session postponed due to Covid

New Delhi: In the wake of raging second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) today postponed the JEE (Main)-2021 exam for May session.

The JEE (Main) – 2021 May session was scheduled to be held on May 24, 25, 26, 27, 28.

Worth mentioning, the NTA has been organizing the JEE (Main) – 2021 in four sessions. Two of these sessions have already been completed. While the first session was held from February 23 to 26, 2021, the second session was organized from March 16 to 18, 2021.

The testing agency further stated the number of candidates who appeared in Session 1 was 6,20,978 and in Session 2 was 5,56,248.

The NTA has already postponed the JEE (Main) – 2021 April Session which was scheduled on April 27, 28, and 30, due to the COVID – 19 pandemic.

The rescheduling of the April and May sessions will be done subsequently.

The registration for the May Session will also be announced at a later stage.

Meanwhile, candidates have been advised to prepare themselves better for the examination. They can also take practice (full length/chapter wise) tests on the NTA Abhyas App from the comfort of their homes.
