JEE Main online exam begins in Odisha

About 5000 students from Odisha appeared in the JEE online examinations which began at nine centres in the state this morning.

JEE Main “There will be two sittings in the two-day examination. While the first sitting will be held for Engineering subjects from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM, the second sitting for Architecture will be held from 2.30 PM to 5 PM,” said Tusharkant Nath, chairman, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

He said the examination carries minus marking for each wrong answer.

The results of the JEE Main Paper-1 will be announced on April 27. About 1.56 lakh students qualifying the JEE Main Paper-1 test will be eligible for JEE Advance Test scheduled on May 24. The results will be announced on June 18, Nath added.
