About 5000 students from Odisha appeared in the JEE online examinations which began at nine centres in the state this morning.
“There will be two sittings in the two-day examination. While the first sitting will be held for Engineering subjects from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM, the second sitting for Architecture will be held from 2.30 PM to 5 PM,” said Tusharkant Nath, chairman, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).
He said the examination carries minus marking for each wrong answer.
The results of the JEE Main Paper-1 will be announced on April 27. About 1.56 lakh students qualifying the JEE Main Paper-1 test will be eligible for JEE Advance Test scheduled on May 24. The results will be announced on June 18, Nath added.
