JEE (Mains) 2021 exam to be held in Odia, 12 other languages

New Delhi: All-India JEE (Mains) 2021 examination will be held in 13 languages in Odia, informed Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today.

The Union Education Minister added in view of the New Education Policy, the JEE(Mains) 2021 exam will be in Odia, Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test mode. However, the JEE(Mains) exam for B.Arch course will on offline mode.

The exam will be held in four sessions in February, March, April and May. First session of JEE(Mains) will be held from February 23 to 26, 2021 and examination results will be declared after four to five days from the last date of the exam.

As per a decision taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA), there will be 90 questions in the exam. Candidates will have to solve any 75 out of them whereas remaining 15 questions will be optional one and won’t carry negative marking for wrong answers.

The Union Minister added merit list/ranking will be prepared based on the best score of a candidate.
