Jharsuguda: Missing minor boy traced in Chhattisgarh

Jharsuguda: A minor boy who went missing and was allegedly kidnapped from Odisha’s Jharsuguda district has been traced in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, police said today.

Police, however, clarified that he was not abducted and was travelling in a train.

The boy was being brought back to Jharsuguda and will be handed over to his family members.

According to reports, the boy of Buromal area went missing on April 7. His family members had lodged a complaint in this regard with the Jharsuguda police alleging that he was kidnapped.

The boy’s mother was hospitalised on the very day due to illness while his father was also present at the hospital. The boy was at his house with his brother during the period. Before the missing incident, he was last seen standing in front of the house on the fateful day.
