Jharsuguda triple murder: ‘Missing’ man found dead in well

Jharsuguda: In an unexpected twist in the Jharsuguda triple murder case, the accused, who had gone missing, was found dead in a well, today.

Notably, a woman and her two minor daughters were found dead inside their house at Fatakapada in Brajarajnagar area of Jharsuguda district, yesterday. The deceased were identified as 28-year-old Sony Poddar, her 5-year-old daughter and her 3-year-old daughter.

As Narayan Poddar, husband of the woman, went missing after the incident, police were suspecting his involvement in killing his wife and two daughters.

However, Narayan’s body was recovered from a well near the house. Police have recovered the body and started investigation to ascertain the circumstances under which the four members of the family died.
