Jio Phone 2 to go on sale on Aug 15; here’s how you can buy

Bhubaneswar: After the success of Jio Phone, Reliance Industries has announced to launch its next 4G feature phone ‘Jio Phone 2’, which will go on sale in India on August 15.

The phone, which will be available on Jio.com and My Jio app, will be priced at Rs 2999.

Specifications 

Jio Phone 2 has features like 2.40-inch display, 240 X 320 pixels resolution and 512MB of RAM. It has internal storage of 4GB that can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card. It has 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The phone features Qwerty keypad with a 4-way navigation key.  It runs KAI OS and is powered by 2000mAh battery. Unlike its previous model, the Jio Phone 2 supports apps like YouTube, WhatsApp and Facebook.

• Visit Reliance Jio’s official website http://www.jio.com
• Once the Jio Phone 2 registrations are open, click on the ‘Get Now’ option
• Enter the details such as contact number, address etc
• Fill in the shipping address and other details
• Pay the full amount of Rs. 2,999 through debit/credit card or Net banking
• Your new Jio Phone 2 will be delivered at the shipping address.
