Bhubaneswar: The third flash sale of JioPhone 2, the 4G-enabled feature phone of Reliance Jio, will be held tomorrow. The device will be available on Jio.com at 12 PM tomorrow, said a company official.

Mukesh Ambani-run Reliance Jio launched the JioPhone last year and JioPhone 2 is an upgraded version of 4G-enabled device. Reliance Jio had earlier offered JioPhone 2 in a flash sale on August 30 and 16.

The Jio Phone 2 that runs on KaiOS supports apps like WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook and Google Maps. One of the major difference between the JioPhone and JioPhone 2 is the Qwerty keypad and the horizontal screen viewing experience.

Here’s how to book JioPhone 2

  1. Log on to Jio's website -- jio.com -- and select JioPhone2.
  2. Enter pin code and proceed to checkout.
  3. The user is required to provide personal details such as name, email ID and mobile number.
  4. Select the desired payment option.
  5. Once the payment of Rs 2,999 is made, an order confirmation notification will be issued through email or SMS.
