Bhubaneswar: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela has invited applications or recruitment to the post of Research Associate in the department of Life Science.

Candidates having PhD in Life Science, Biotechnology and Food Science are eligible to apply for the post. Preference will be given to candidates, who have experience in food industries and experience in fabricating equipment.

A walk-in interview for the recruitment will be held at the Life Science department of NIT Rourkela on June 4. The interview will be conducted in a time-bound research project to be undertaken in the department at 10.30 AM.

Job Description: Designing and fabrication of the equipment required, conducting experiments related to the project, consultation with the service providers, maintenance of research findings and purchase details, discussing with the bioplastic manufacturers, arranging travel to visit the bioplastic facilities, patent analysis, writing and filing, preparation of the documents to be submitting to the BIRAC, overall assistance to the investigators to achieve the proposed objectives of the project.
