Bhubaneswar: BJP's national president JP Nadda is scheduled to visit Odisha this week to attend the party's extended executive meeting starting July 19.
The BJP's two-day extended executive meeting is scheduled to be held on July 19 and 20. The party's president JP Nadda will attend the meeting, informed Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal today.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was scheduled to attend the two-day meeting in Odisha. However, he will not be able to visit the state due to health-related issues. Nadda will attend the event in place of Singh, Samal said.
The party will decide on political strategy and blueprint for various programs at the meeting. he stated.
This will be the first crucial meeting of Odisha BJP after the party came to power in the state by defeating Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government that ruled the past 24 years.
