JSW BPSL Township Women’s Sports Meet-2023 concludes

Rengali: Three-day JSW BPSL Township Women’s Sports Meet 2023 concluded here on Feb 26. The sports meet was inaugurated by Anil Kumar Singh, President & Whole Time Director, JSW BPSL & Neelam Singh, President Akansha Ladies Club, JSW BPSL. To set the spirit of the sports, Singh encouraged all the participants and wished all the best to the sportswomen.

Various types of sports events were organized — athletics to cycling, badminton to tug of war, and skipping — in which about 130 women from the township participated with full of enthusiasm. Heats and Final match rounds were played between teams. The matches played were full of competition and some of the matches went to Tie Breaker levels.

During the sports events, Umesh Rai, COO, Preeti Rai, P. Sasindran, K.B. Singh, Girish Naik, D.K. Sinha and senior officers of JSWBPSL, senior ladies of the township, and township residents were present in huge numbers.

The teams and sportswomen were encouraged by thousands of visitors during these three days. All the matches were full of crowd cheering for all the teams.

The sports meet came to an end on 26th Feb 2023 with the prize distribution ceremony.
