Jumbo poaching: Crime Branch nabs two

Sambalpur, Mar 1:
The Crime Branch police today arrested two poachers from inside the Bamra forest in connection with the killing of a wild tusker recently.

Talking to newsmen here, Crime Branch ADG BK Sharma said that the CB police, acting on a tip-off, raided the forest range and arrested two poachers who would be forwarded to the Kuchinda court later in the day.
“We have seized guns and explosives from the duo”, Sharma added.
The state government had directed the Crime Branch to probe into the killing of wild tuskers in the Kuchinda forest range recently.
The Crime Branch had formed two teams to nab the poachers with the help of forest officials.
