Junior Women’s Hockey: Odisha eves thrash J&K 10-0

Bhubaneswar, Mar 10:

Hockey Gangpur junior girls’ team won their second match in a row thrashing Jammu and Kashmir by 10-0 goals in the group-B league match in the 4th Junior Women Hockey Championship at Mysore in Karnataka on Sunday.

The Odisha team, participating in the tournament for the first time, overwhelmed the rivals through quick goals by Namrata Jasmin Bara followed by a hat-trick by Mosmita Lugun, four goals by Janhabi Pradhan, and two goals by Rinki Kujur.

The Odisha team would meet Assam in their next match on Monday.
