Justice Pramath Patnaik sworn in as Addl Judge of Odisha High Court

Justice Pramath Patnaik was sworn in as Additional Judge of the Odisha High Court today.

He was administered the oath by the Chief Justice of the Odisha High Court Amitava Roy at the High Court premises here.

With this, the total number of judges in the High Court has gone up to 21.

Prior to his new assignment, Justice Patnaik was a government advocate at principal bench of the Odisha Administrative Tribunal (OAT), Bhubaneswar.

Born in 1959, Patnaik completed his Master’s Degree from Delhi University and later obtained a Degree from University Law College of Utkal University.

He was standing counsel of OAT during 1994-95 and had served as additional standing counsel of the Odisha High Court between 2000 and 2006.

He had also served as additional government advocate in the Odisha High Court between 2006 and 2009.
