Bhubaneswar: Government advocate Jyoti Prakash Pattnaik has been appointed as the in-charge Advocate General of Odisha.
The Law department issued a notification in this regard yesterday.
Pattnaik will hold the office of the Advocate General in addition to his original responsibility.
“Jyoti Prakash Pattnaik, government advocate, is hereby allowed to remain in charge of the Advocate General to manage the day to day work in addition to his own duties,” said the notification.
Pattnaik has been appointed as the in-charge Advocate General following the resignation of incumbent Ashok Kumar Parija, sources said.
