Bhubaneswar, Oct 4:
The crown prince of erstwhile princely state Kalahandi Anant Pratap Deo today joined BJP, according to a notification issued by the party.

He joined the saffron party in a function organised at the state headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
According to BJP, former NAC Chairman of Khariar Nimain Tandi, Lt. Gen. Narayan Mohanty, Brig. Sushant Mishra, Col. Anirudh Nath, Col. Parameshwar Parida, Col. Laxmidhar Parida also joined the party.
Besides, hundreds supporters of Biju Janata Dal from Angul, Khurda and Dhenkanal districts and many others from Jayadev Assembly constituency of Bhubaneswar also switched loyalty to BJP, the notification added.
