Panchayati Raj miniser Kalpataru Das, Textiles minister Sarojini Hembram and former minister AU Singhdeo will be the BJD candidates for the three seats that the party is set to win without any problems.

Their names were officially announced on Monday morning.

Party president Naveen Patnaik has already announced that the party would back renowned sculptor Raghunath Mohapatra for the fourth seat for which no party has the required numbers.

The Congress has fielded IPL chairman and former Jagatsinghpur MP Ranjib Bswal to take on Mohapatra for this seat.
