Keonjhar SP meets with accident; truck driver detained  

Keonjhar: Keonjhar SP Mitrabhanu Mahapatra had a narrow escape after his four-wheeler had a head-on collision with a truck near Turumunga Bazaar in Keonjhar district today.

Reportedly, when the SP was going to Turumunga police station for an inspection, a truck coming from opposite direction collided with his vehicle at Jharbeda Chhak. Though the cop did not suffer any injuries in the accident, major portion at the front of the vehicle has been severely damaged.

Following the incident, police have detained the driver of the truck and seized his vehicle.
