Khandagiri Mela to kick off from Feb 12 in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: The famous religious and cultural fair Khandagiri Mela will kick off here from February 12.

In view of the possible crowd, the Commissionerate police decided to make elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the 10-day-long fair in Khandagiri.

As per the decision taken at the BMC meeting held yesterday, the security will be tightened inside the ground where the Jatras will be staged. Entire Khandagiri-Udaygiri hills terrain till Jagamara Jatra ground will be under the CCTV surveillance to keep vigil on anti-social activities, possible crimes including loot and molestation.
