KIIT, KISS celebrate I-Day in Odisha capital

KIIT University and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) celebrated 69th Independence Day in the Odisha capital on Saturday.
I-Day celebration in KIIT and KISS
Heads of the departments of different schools hoisted the tri-colour in their respective schools in KIIT University.

In KISS, Padmashree Bibek Debroy, eminent economist and member, NITI Aayog hoisted the tri-colour in presence of Dr Malcolm J. Woodfield, global Vice President of SAP.

Among others Saswati Bal, President, KIIT & KISS, RN Dash, secretary, KIIT & KISS, Dr Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT & KISS, Prof PP Mathur, VC, KIIT University; Surjyakant Mohanty, COO, KISS, Dr Prashant Routary, CEO, KISS, Dr PK Das, Director, KISS were also present.

After the flag hoisting, a march past was performed by the students of KISS. The students also performed colourful cultural programme.

For the first time, Ghumura, the tribal dance of Kalahandi was performed by girl students of KISS.
