KIIT is the only university in India to have implemented SAP, said Dr Malcolm J Woodfield, the Global Vice President of SAP, one of the largest enterprise software companies in the world.

“KIIT has gone live with SAP-MM, FI, HR, SLCM (Student Life Cycle Management), EP, PI, FSS, MSS, ESS, SSS and BIBO Modules in all its schools and offices in one go. To make digital India successful in every sector, there is need for implementation for SAP,” he said while addressing a function at the KIIT auditorium in the Odisha capital today.

In his address, Rajesh Mishra, Senior Vice President, Wipro said the IT Industry in Odisha is growing faster than other states of India.

“There are more opportunities in IT industry in Odisha. Today there is huge demand of SAP. Students of KIIT should take the advantage of this training of SAP in KIIT. They can make a brilliant career and earn more money. KIIT is the brand ambassador among the educational institutions of India in implementing SAP,” Mishra said.

EAM division of KIIT University is engaged in offering training, education and consultancy in SAP. It carried out SAP implementation along with SAP India as its implementation partner. Students and corporate houses and government organizations should take the advantages of this.

KIIT has a strong 40-member SAP team lead by Prof Nihar Beura, who has 17 years of industry SAP experience across the globe and is SAP Solution certified, SAP TERP 10 Certified and SAP business-buy-design certified too.

The team with his guidance is engaged in offering services to outside industries in SAP training, SAP education, SAP implementation and SAP support work.

KIIT is bracing up to lead SAP Eco System comprising SAP Client industries, SAP Consulting organizations, SAP professionals and SAP students in the region.

Among others, Dr Sasmitarani Samanta, Registrar and other official and staff, students were present.
