KIIT Polytechnic awarded ‘Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India’

KIIT Polytechnic (KP), the Diploma wing of KIIT Group of Institutions, has been awarded the ‘Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India’.

Tanmaya Mohanty, principal of KIIT Polytechnic, received the award at the Global Education Awards-2014 in New Delhi on March 9.

KIITAmong others, Dr Najma Heptulla, Dr Balchandra Mungekar, Amar Singh, Prof DK Vaid, dean and head, NCERT and Anand Kumar, founder, Super-30 were present.

The award is an initiative of Prime Time Research Media to honour the achievers, innovators and leaders of the education sector in India.

Previously known as Kalinga Polytechnic, KIIT Polytechnic has evolved as one of the most cherished destinations for students aspiring for a bright career in technology.

Besides a cutting-edge academic curricula, it provides the students the best learning, intensive caring and homely ambience to explore and grow as better individuals.

The institute has been attracting major companies for campus placement of the students with not less than 22 companies visiting the college in the first three months of placement session this year.

Dr Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT and KISS, has praised the efforts of the principal and other staff for their dedicated and sincere efforts in bringing laurels for the institute.
