Kin of youth who died in Vizag seek help to bring back his body

Gajapati: Family members of a youth from Paralakhemundi area of Gajapati district who died in a Vishakhapatnam-based hospital while undergoing treatment today sought help of the district administration in bringing back his body.

As per reports, the youth identified as Sampad (19) from Ramnagar area in Paralakhemundi attempted to end his life yesterday by consuming poison.

The youth’s family members admitted him to the Paralakhemundi hospital and later shifted to the KGH hospital in Vishakhapatnam.

“Sampad died while undergoing treatment at the KGH Hospital at 5 am today. But the hospital authorities are yet to hand over his body. We seek the help of the Gajapati district administration in this regard,” said K Chakroborty, uncle of the deceased.
