Bhubaneswar: A day after taking oath for his third consecutive term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi allocated portfolios among the newly-formed Council of Ministers, including the three Cabinet Ministers from Odisha, on Monday.

Dharmendra Pradhan, the BJP Lok Sabha MP from Odisha’s Sambalpur, has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Education once again.

Pradhan was serving as the Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in Prime Minister Modi’s second term in office from 2019 to 2024.

Jual Oram, the BJP Lok Sabha MP from Sundargarh, has been given the charge of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Oram was inducted into the Union Cabinet after a gap of five years. The veteran leader from Odisha had served as the Union Tribal Affairs Minister in Prime Minister Modi’s first term in office from 2014 to 2019.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, a Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha, has been allocated the portfolios of Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology.

The bureaucrat-turned-politician was serving as the Union Minister for Railways, Communications, and Electronics and Information Technology in Prime Minister Modi’s second term in office from 2019 to 2024.
