Rituals: Devotees donate food items, clothes and other essentials to the Brahmin Pandits on this day.

Taking bath in Ganga river is considered very auspicious on this day.

Devotees pray and meditate to Goddess Ganga for a happy and prosperous life.

People who are unable to go to Ganga, can also take bath in other holy rivers.

Offerings given to a cow on Kumbha Sankranti are considered auspicious and beneficial.
