Landmine explosion in Odisha’s Malkangiri leaves BSF jawan injured

Malkangiri: A BSF jawan was critically injured as a landmine allegedly planted by Maoists exploded near Gogpadar village under Mathili block of Odisha’s Malkangiri district, today.

The jawan, identified as Dharmendra Sahoo, sustained grievious injuries on his left leg and has been hospitalised.

The explosion took place when security forces were returning after carrying out combing operation in the area. Combing operation was intensified in the region after the mishap.
