Landmine recovered in Odisha's Malkangiri

Malkangiri: BSF jawans yesterday recovered a landmine in Swabhiman Anchal of Odisha's Malkangiri district, reports said.

During a search operation from Pipalpadar to Nakamamudi, the security forces spotted the explosive and recovered it.

Later, a bomb disposal squad reached the spot and defused the landmine averting a possible mishap.

It is being suspected that the landmine was planted by the Maoists targeting the security forces.
