Bahuda Jatra Live updates: Sea of devotees on Puri Grand Road as Lord Jagannath, Holy Siblings make way back from Gundicha Temple

Puri: A sea of devotees thronged Puri, Odisha's pilgrim town, to witness Holy Bahuda Jatra of Lord Jagannath today. Riding divine chariots, the deities will make their way back from the Gundicha Temple after a brief stay during 11-day-long annual Ratha Jatra. 

The chariot pulling began at around 3 pm, ahead of the schedule, at Sharadhabali towards the Jagannath Temple following completion of all rituals.

The pahandi rituals of deities began before the schedule for Bahuda Jatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri. The servitors performed sunya pahandi of Sudarshan, the weapon of Lord Jagannath, and placed it on Devi Subhadra's chariot Darpadalan.
