Bhubaneswar: In an act of honesty, a cab driver in Bhubaneswar has won hearts by returning a passenger's bag that contained cash, jewellery, and crucial medical documents.

As per reports, Bijay Kumar, the driver, discovered the bag left behind in his taxi after a passenger, Suryamani Parida, accidentally left it while travelling from Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Suryamani had earlier arrived from Bengaluru.

After the cab journey ended, Suryamani hurriedly left the vehicle, unknowingly leaving behind the bag. Bijay Kumar later found the bag and promptly searched for a contact number using a mobile phone found inside the bag.

Bijay handed over all the contents of the bag at the Khandagiri police station.

His honesty has been widely appreciated by many.
