Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar today to attend the first anniversary celebrations of the BJP government in Odisha.

The Prime Minister reached Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the capital city here in the afternoon. Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received the Prime Minister at the airport.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a roadshow from the airport to Janata Maidan to mark the first anniversary of the BJP government in the state.

He will also address a public meeting at Janata Maidan and unveil the Odisha Vision Document 2036, the blueprint for making Odisha a developed state by the centenary year of its formation.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate a few development projects and lay foundation stones for other projects on the occasion.

This is the sixth visit of the Prime Minister to Odisha since the formation of maiden BJP government in the state in 2024.
