Bhubaneswar: Two coaches of Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express got decoupled near Odisha’s Jeypore today.
The coupling of the Bhubaneswar-bound express train reportedly broke at Amguda near Jeypore town in Koraput district, leading to the detachment of two coaches. However, no one was injured in the incident.
On being informed, the officials as well as technicians of the Railways rushed to the spot.
However, the train was halted for over two and a half hours midway due to the mishap. The repair work is underway.
The express train (18448) had left Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh at 4.30 pm today and it was scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar at 8.20 am tomorrow (Monday).
