Deities of Srimandir to remain out of bounds for devotees tomorrow

Puri: The deities of the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain out of bounds for devotees for five hours tomorrow.

According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the Bamana Janma ritual will be observed at the Srimandir on September 4, coinciding with Bhadraba Shukla Dwadashi Tithi.

Following the Madhyana Dhoopa Bhoga ritual, devotees will not be allowed to have darshan of the deities. The restriction will remain in force from 5 PM to 10 PM, the temple administration stated.
