Bhubaneswar: The government will sanction concrete houses for 37 lakh more families in Odisha under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in a few months.
This was revealed by Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik today.
“Altogether 37 lakh more families will be provided with the concrete houses under the PMAY-G. The Centre has given its nod in this regard,” said Naik.
According to Naik, he held detailed discussions with the Union Minister concerned with regard to the allocation of concreate houses under the central scheme during his recent visit to New Delhi.
“The government will sanction the concreate houses by November this year. I have talked to the officials concerned in this regard. The scrutinization of around 4 lakh applications submitted through online mode is underway now. The officials will start scrutinization of the offline applications soon,” said the Minister.
