Husband, mother-in-law arrested in connection with woman constable’s death

Nuapada: In connection with the death of a woman constable, the Nuapada Police today arrested her husband and mother-in-law. Both have been forwarded to court.

The body of the constable, identified as Rukmani Nag, was found hanging from a tree branch near Nuapada Police Station a few days ago.

Before her death, Rukmani had recorded a video and shared it with several people. In the video, she alleged her in-laws had been subjecting her to unbearable torture.
