Bhubaneswar: India successfully conducted the test-firing of two short-range ballistic missiles from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur off the coast of Odisha today.
“Successful test-firing of short-range ballistic missiles Prithvi-II and Agni-1 was carried out from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha today,” said the Ministry of Defence in a statement.
The launches were conducted under the aegis of Strategic Forces Command. All operational and technical parameters have been validated, added the ministry.
India test-fired nuclear-capable Agni-1 missile from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha around 6.60 pm. 
It successfully conducted the test-firing of Prithvi-II missile from the launch pad no. 3 at the ITR at 8.35 pm.
