Nuapada By-Election 2025 Results LIVE Updates: BJP's Jay Dholakia Wins Bypoll with margin of over 83,000 votes

The results of the Nuapada By-Election 2025 were announced today. BJP's Jay Dholakia won the Nuapada Bypoll with a margin of 83748 votes. He secured 123869 votes, defeating his nearest rival, Ghasiram Majhi of Congress, who got 40121 votes. A total of 38408 votes were polled in favour of BJD candidate Snehnagini Chhuria, who stood at third place.

Polling was held on November 11 across 358 booths. Around 2.54 lakh voters were eligible to cast their votes, while the turnout reached 83.45 per cent.

The By-Election was conducted following the death of four-time MLA Rajendra Dholakia on September 8.
