Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to receive heavy rainfall as a low pressure area is likely to form during the next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
"The upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Odisha-West Bengal coasts persists and now extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region during next 24 hours," the agency said.
