Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
“Today, I got an opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. I am grateful to the Prime Minister for his inspiration and unwavering support for the development of Odisha,” said the Chief Minister in a Twitter (X) post today.
The two leaders held discussions regarding various developmental initiatives in Odisha, future course of action, proper co-ordination between the Centre and state and efforts to speed up overall growth.
“The Centre and the state government are committed to achieve the goal of prosperous Odisha and developed India,” added the Chief Minister.
It is worth mentioning here that the Chief Minister had met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday.
Majhi and Singh held discussions on issues related to the country’s defence sector and various schemes of the Odisha government.
The Chief Minister presented the Odisha Vision Document 2026 and 2047 to the Defence Minister.
