Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department has extended the deadline for the first round of undergraduate (U.G.) course admissions for the academic session 2025–26.

According to an official notification, the extension aims to assist students who were selected in the 1st round of admission but were unable to pay the requisite admission fees or report to their allotted institutions on time.

These students now have until 3:00 PM on June 21, 2025, to exercise the Freeze/ Slide/ Float option, pay the admission fees, and report at their respective institutions.

The Department has urged all concerned applicants to complete their admission formalities within the revised timeline to confirm their seats and avoid disqualification.
