Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held a roadshow in Bhubaneswar to mark the first anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha.

The Prime Minister led the roadshow from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) to Janata Maidan soon after he arrived in the capital city here in the afternoon.

Hundreds of people gathered on both sides of the road to greet the Prime Minister. Several cultural troupes from across the state also performed on the occasion. 

Modi travelled through Capital Hospital Square, AG Square, Raj Bhawan Chowk, Power House Square, 120 Battalion Square, Jaydev Vihar Square and Nalco Square to reach Janata Maidan. 

He is scheduled to address a public meeting at Janata Maidan and unveil the Odisha Vision Document 2036, the blueprint for making Odisha a developed state by the centenary year of its formation.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate a few development projects and lay foundation stones for other projects on the occasion.

This is the sixth visit of the Prime Minister to Odisha since the formation of maiden BJP government in the state in 2024.
