Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance arrested Soil Conservation and Watershed Development Joint Director Dayanidhi Bagh in disproportionate assets (DA) case following raid yesterday.
During simultaneous house searches, the Vigilance officials had unearthed disproportionate assets including 2 buildings, one 3-BHK flat in Bhubaneswar, 84 acres of land comprising 2 farm houses over 48 acres at Nabarangpur, Gold 312 gms, Bank deposits over Rs. 58 Lakhs, 1 benami Brezza Car, etc which the official could not account for satisfactorily.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS case No.24/2025 has been registered against Dayanidhi Bagh. He will be forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna, the Vigilance informed today following his arrest.
On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Dayanidhi Bagh, the Joint Director at Office of Director of Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Vigilance teams led by 10 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, 10 ASIs, and other supporting staff conducted simultaneous house searches at 8 locations in Bhubaneswar, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur on Monday.
