Bhubaneswar: On the account of traffic restrictions implemented for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's one-day visit to Odisha scheduled on June 20, Ama Bus services will be diverted on several routes in Bhubaneswar.
Upon request from the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police for diversion of Ama Bus services on June 20, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) announced to divert following bus routes due to traffic restrictions imposed in view of Odisha Government's programme to be graced by PM Narendra Modi tomorrow.
As per the decision, Ama Bus routes nos. 9, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, 36, 37, 39, 40, 47 and 66 will be diverted from 2 PM to 6.30 PM on June 20 (Friday).

Yesterday, the Commissionerate Police had urged the CRUT to divert Ama Bus services operating between NALCO Square and Airport Square on June 20 to ensure smooth traffic management and public safety in view of anticipated crowd in Bhubaneswar.Â
PM Modi is scheduled to grace completion of first year of BJP government in Odisha tomorrow. As per the schedule, he will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar by a special IAF flight at 3.40 PM on June 20. He will reach Janata Maidan at 4.15 PM following a grand road show from airport. He will depart the venue at 5.35 PM and reach the airport at 5.45 PM by road. He will board the IAF aircraft at 5.50 PM towards Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, for another official programme.
