Bhubaneswar: 'Atheist Krishna', a beloved digital creator from Odisha’s Koraput district known for his unique blend of satire and emotion, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday due to complications arising from pneumonia. He was preparing for surgery at the time of his illness, according to family sources.

Krishna rose to prominence under the name 'Atheist Krishna' across social media platforms. He captivated audiences with his sharply humorous memes and emotional Photoshop edits, often recreating long-lost family moments and evoking deep emotional responses from viewers.

Starting with niche content, Krishna’s creative work quickly gained popularity for its originality and emotional depth. His talent did not go unnoticed in the mainstream. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had once personally acknowledged Krishna’s work in a heartfelt video message. “Some of my friends follow your content and showed me the incredible work you do with Photoshop to bring smiles to people’s faces,” Akshay had said. “I recently showed one of your memes to our Prime Minister, and he had a hearty laugh.”

The video had gone viral, cementing Krishna’s reputation as a creator.

In recent weeks, Krishna had been reportedly battling health issues and was preparing for surgery. He contracted pneumonia during this time, which led to a rapid decline in his condition. He breathed his last at 4:30 am today.

News of his demise first emerged on social media, shared by a fellow netizen using the handle @nainaverse. It was later confirmed by Krishna’s family.
