Ravenshaw University withdraws restriction over presence of women employees, students on premises after 5.30 PM

Cuttack: Hours after issuing an order restricting the presence of women employees and girl students on the premises after 5.30 PM, Ravenshaw University in Cuttack today withdrew it.

The restriction was to remain in effect until a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was created, outlining specific work hours and safety protocols.

"No female faculty, staff or students are permitted to remain in the workplace or on campus after 05.30 PM. This decision will remain in place until a formal Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is issued, which will outline the necessary guidelines and protocols for work hours and safety measures," the order had said.
