Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha has appointed retired IAS officer Manoj Kumar Mohanty as a member of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC). A notification to this effect was issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department.
Mohanty, who previously served as Additional Secretary to the Government in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, will serve a term of six years from the date he assumes office or until he attains the age of sixty-two years, whichever is earlier.
His appointment has been made under clause (1) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India and Regulation 5 of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952.
The terms and conditions of his service as a member of OPSC will be governed by the provisions of the OPSC (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952, as amended from time to time.
