Saswata Mishra appointed Principal Secretary to Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha Government appointed senior IAS officer Saswata Mishra as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Mishra, a 1996-batch IAS officer, is currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department and also holds additional charge as Chairman of the Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO).

As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Mishra will continue to hold his existing responsibilities in addition to his new role in the Chief Minister’s Office.
