Jaleswar: Lawyers of Civil & Criminal Court in Jaleswar of Balasore district abstained from work after 14 staff of the court tested positive for COVID-19.

After detection of multiple COVID-19 cases in the court, the lawyers have decided not to visit the premises from today, informed Jaleswar Bar Association President Anil Kumar Parida.

The Bar Association of Civil & Criminal Court's Complex, Jaleswar, demanded the district administration to declare the court as the containment zone to prevent further spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, Odisha today registered 10,368 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, of which 304 infections were from Balasore district.
