Baripada: Forest Department personnel managed to capture a leopard which had strayed into Odisha's Baripada town on Friday morning.
As per reports, the department personnel tranquilized and caged the leopard, which had entered the premises of Budhikhamaria Primary School.
The animal was initially spotted near the school in the morning. When dogs started barking at the leopard, it went towards the school.
On being informed by the locals, the Forest Department personnel reached the place and initiated efforts to capture the animal.
It is believed that the leopard strayed into the town from the Similipal Sanctuary in search of food.
