‘Let’s SHUTTLE’ corporate badminton championship concludes

Bhubaneswar: Let’s SHUTTLE, the biggest ever corporate badminton championship, organised by Radio Choklate and Sambad Digital concluded at Railway Indoor Stadium here today.

The tournament was inaugurated on February 10. As many as 178 teams from different corporate houses participated in the championship.

Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Chairman and former Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony of the tournament.

Sambad Group’s Managing Director Monica Nayyar Patnaik and Executive Director Tanaya Patnaik, Evos Buildcon Managing Director Kalinga Keshari Rath, Ruchi Foodline Managing Director Sarat Kumar Sahoo, PII Managing Director Bijay Kael, and Radio Choklate and Sambad Digital marketing head Lingaraj Lenka were present on the occasion.

Odisha State Badminton Association, with the help of ASTHA School of Management, managed all the matches of the mega tournament.

Sourav Mohanty and Tarini Majhi of Kalpataru Agency were the winners in the below 45 category while Asirbad Das and Avinash Swain of M/S ASSA were the runners up.

Santosh Kumar Choudhury and Srimant Kumar Mishra of K1 Security were the winners in the above 45 category while Manas Kumar Sethi and Trilochan Das of Paradip Port Authority were the runners up.

Deep Ranjan Bisoi and Deepak Kumar Beshra of Finance department were the winners in Government category while Swapan Sasmal and Arbinda Pradhan of Indian Post were the runners up.

Sourav Mohanty and Tarini Majhi of Kalpataru Agency were the winners in the super final.

The winners received a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a trophy while the runners up got the trophy and Rs 15,000 as cash prize.
