Lightning claims lives of two youth in Odisha

Nabarangpur: Two youth were killed after lightning struck them at Badadei village under Papadahandi block in Nabarangpur district last evening.

The deceased duo has been identified as Biswambar Nayak (20) and Mahendra Bhatara (19).

Sources said the two went outside at around 7 pm yesterday to catch fish and didn’t return after that. At around 6.30 am today, their bodies were recovered from an agriculture land, around 500 metres away from Badadei village.

Meanwhile, police have sent the bodies to hospital for post-mortem.
