Lightning strike kills one, injures 15 at wedding party in Odisha

Sundargarh: Lightning strike claimed life of a person and left 15 others injured who were present at a wedding party at Saleipali village under Lahunipada police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district today.

The tragic incident took place when the victims were having food at the wedding ceremony. The injured ones were admitted to the Lahunipada hospital and ten of them were later released.

Till last reports came in, five persons were undergoing treatment at the hospital. Their condition is stated to be stable, hospital sources said.
